  • Guy 1: Hey Could you give me directions to a donut shop?
  • Me: Yeah, there's one right down the street.
  • Guy 1: Alright thanks
  • He comes back a little later and put the box outside Guy 2's door. Then Guy 2 comes down.
  • Guy 2: Were you in on this?
  • Me: In on what?
  • Guy 2: We have a bet seeing who can lose the most weight. You have all of these. He thought it would be funny to get me donuts.

I see the mailman for the hotel almost every day. We exchange a few lines and then I let him get back to his job because he’s most likely very busy. His hurried, yet polite nature always hints to that. I still don’t know his name.
